To: All Registered Attendees:

Congratulations! You are among the elect women of South Central Conference. God has chosen you to meet with Him in the beautiful mountains of Gatlinburg, TN, November 18-21. Expect a mountaintop experience with the King of Kings and wonderful fellowship with your sister princesses. Here’s a bird’s eye view.
SATURDAY NIGHT EVENT:
Our theme for Saturday evening is “Daughters of the Most High King.”
The Attire: After Five (We leave the color up to you)
CALLING ALL CHOIR MEMBERS!!
If you are planning to join the chorale for our Sabbath Service, bring your black dress. We will provide a beautiful scarf for accent. We have asked Gale Murphy to arrange a theme song just for us. Nancy Dudley, one of the musicians for the General Conference Session in 2005, will be our music director with Angela Hyde as the choir director.
YOUNG WOMEN AGES 13-17
Bring your after-five or your church best for an evening to remember. Yes, Princesses of the Most High King, we want you to be a part of our parade of fashions on Saturday night. More than that we want you to know that you are a daughter of God and make memories that will last a lifetime.
SEPTEMBER 15 DEADLINE
Remember to complete your payment by September 15. We must have all monies by this date to insure a smooth transaction with the hotel. Thank you for your cooperation and timeliness.
THURSDAY NIGHT’S OPENING SESSION
If you miss the opening session, you will never forgive yourself. Word of mouth will not be adequate to describe what has been plan for you. Besides, getting there early give you time to go shopping by way of the trolley. Yes, the trolley will pick you up and drop you off right at the hotel door. “Shop until you drop” and return for a spirit filled night cap that will leave you wanting more.

There you have it. A small snapshot of the coming events. Of course, we will keep some surprises. We women love surprises. So bring your cameras and take lots of pictures to make lasting memories.

Guest Speaker

Sandra Johnson

Sandra Johnson, a native Memphian, is a member of the Longview Heights SDA Church where she currently serves as Women’s Ministries Leader, Youth Sabbath School teacher, doorkeeper, and choir member. She and her husband, Rickey, have been blessed with four children. She enjoys reading, writing, and spending time with friends and family.

Sandra has served the State of Tennessee as parole counselor for six years. She is currently a graduate student at the University of Memphis pursuing a Master’s degree in Women’s Studies and Community Counseling. Sharing messages of encouragement and affirmation, she hopes to inspire a deeper trust in God for all who hear.

Sandra firmly believes if you see the Lord with all your heart, you will find Him.

Concert Artist
Angela Hyde

Angela Robinson Hyde is married to Mark Hyde and blessed with one son, Joseph. Angela began singing at the age of five. She has participated in numerous choirs from grade school through college. She also sang with a Memphis gospel group, Murphy and Company.

In addition to solo guest appearances, Angela does music with children and works as a lower division Sabbath School leader at Longview Heights SDA Church in Memphis, TN.


Seminar Presenters

Carol Barron, BA
Carol is an Administrative Assistant in the Adult Ministries Department of NAD/GC of Seventh-day Adventists She travels extensively throughout the United States and other countries, ministering to God’s people through preaching and teaching the pure WORD of God. She conducts prayer conferences, motivational and inspirational seminars.

Clementine H. Collins, R.N..
Clementine is a Charge Nurse in CCU. She holds certification from the NAD Health Ministries Department for the Eight Weeks of Wellness and Weight Management Certification Program. She is a dedicated medical professional with 25 years of practical experience.

Paula Eakins, M.S.
Paula conducts numerous seminars and cooking exhibitions. She has been speaker for national health organization; health educator for the Huntsville Hospital and is author of the cookbook and video tape entitle Vegetarian Cooking Made E-Z. Paula and her husband regularly appear on the 3ABN health programs.

Edith Fraser, Ph.D.
Edith presently holds a dual appointment at Oakwood College as a Professor in the Social Work Department and Director of Faculty Development and Research, She is a member of the Academy of Certified Social Workers and a Licensed Certified Social Worker.

Cherryl Galley, Ph.D.
Cherryl Is currently an Assistant Professor at Oakwood College in the Psychology Department. Other capacities in which she serves include: First
Elder at the Oakwood College Church, and a Licensed Professional Counselor.

Bettye Ramsey Graves, Ph.D.
Bettye is Assistant Vice President of Enrollment at Jackson State University. Previously she held the position of Assistant Vice Provost for Academic Support Services and Program/Registrar. Bettye holds membership in numerous professional Organizations. She is an active member of the church an community.


Judy Harris, M.A.

Judy is a high school teacher in addition to being a partner in ministry with her husband. She serves as a member of executive planning committee for women ministries of the South Central Conference. She is also one of the directors for youth activities. Her talents and creativity in planning are invaluable.


Jean Mathis, M.D.
Jean is a Private Physician in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Her practice specializes in health care for women in all stages of life. She also has a special love for the many facets of Youth Ministry within the Church and community. At present, she resides in Huntsville AL with her husband and five sons. Her goal in life is “to be all that “HE” wants her to be”.

Rena Majors, R.N.
Rena is a Registered Nurse and Director of “Door of Hope Ministries,” established to address the issues of hurting people and provide educational counseling to those who have experienced various kinds of abuse.

Ruth Morris, Ph.D.
Ruth is currently Professor of Psychology and coordinator of the undergraduate program at Southern Adventist University. Her areas of
Academic specialties are Child Psychology and Measurement. She is an outspoken advocate for the down trodden, oppressed and those without a voice.

Agatha Thrash, M.D.
Agatha is founder of the Uchee Pines Institute in Seal, AL and is certified by the American Board of Pathology. She is known internationally for the outstanding practical information provided during health lectures at retreats and on 3ABN Health Emphasis Programs.
